Collaboration Between Makawanpur Multiple Campus and Kyoto College | Academic Partnership

मकवानपुर बहुमुखी क्याम्पस र जापानको क्योटो कलेजबीच सहकार्य सम्झौता

हेटौंडाः मकवानपुर बहुमुखी क्याम्पस (एमएमसी) र जापानको क्योटो कलेज अफ ग्राजुयट स्टडिज फर इन्फर्मेटिक्स (केसीजीआई) बीच आइतबार महत्वपूर्ण सहकार्य सम्बन्धी सम्झौता भएको छ। सम्झौताले दुई संस्थाबीच शैक्षिक अध्ययन, अनुसन्धान, तालिम, कार्यशाला, प्राध्यापक तथा विद्यार्थी आदानप्रदानलगायतका क्षेत्रमा सहकार्य गर्ने अवसर प्रदान गर्नेछ।

सम्झौताका मुख्य बुँदाहरू

  • प्राध्यापक र विद्यार्थी आदानप्रदान: सम्झौताअनुसार, दुबै क्याम्पसले एक पटकमा बढीमा २ जना प्राध्यापक र १० जना विद्यार्थीलाई आफ्नो क्याम्पस भ्रमणका लागि आमन्त्रित गर्न सक्नेछन्।
  • शैक्षिक गुणस्तर अभिवृद्धि: सम्झौताको प्राथमिक उद्देश्य दुबै क्याम्पसको शैक्षिक गुणस्तर अभिवृद्धि र अध्ययन-अनुसन्धानका नयाँ अवसरहरूको खोजी हो।
  • सम्झौता अवधि: यो सम्झौता ५ वर्षसम्म लागू हुनेछ।

हस्ताक्षर समारोह

सम्झौतामा मकवानपुर बहुमुखी क्याम्पसका तर्फबाट क्याम्पस प्रमुख डा. यमबहादुर सिलवालले हस्ताक्षर गर्नुभयो। क्याम्पसका सहायक प्रमुख उत्तम अर्याललाई संयोजकका रूपमा तोकिएको छ। क्योटो कलेजका तर्फबाट उपाध्यक्ष प्राध्यापक डा. ग्यारी होइची सुचिमोचीले हस्ताक्षर गर्नुभएको छ भने आनन्द नेपाल संयोजकको भूमिकामा हुनुहुन्छ।
समारोहमा मकवानपुर क्याम्पस सञ्चालक समितिका अध्यक्ष अनन्तप्रसाद पौडेल र उपाध्यक्ष अशोक शाक्यको उपस्थिति थियो।

सम्झौताबाट अपेक्षित लाभ

मकवानपुर बहुमुखी क्याम्पसका प्रमुख डा. यमबहादुर सिलवालका अनुसार यो सम्झौता प्राध्यापक, कर्मचारी र विद्यार्थीहरूको क्षमता विकासका लागि महत्वपूर्ण हुनेछ। साथै, यसले क्याम्पसको शैक्षिक गुणस्तरमा थप सुधार ल्याउन सहयोग गर्नेछ।
डा. सिलवालले क्याम्पसले विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोगबाट गुणस्तर मापनमा सुनिश्चितता पाएको उल्लेख गर्दै, अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय साझेदारीमार्फत शैक्षिक विस्तारका प्रयासलाई निरन्तरता दिने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गर्नुभयो। आगामी दिनमा अष्ट्रेलिया, अमेरिका र बेलायतका शैक्षिक संस्थाहरूसँग पनि सहकार्यका सम्भावनाहरू खोजिने बताइएको छ।

जापानी संस्थासँगको सहकार्य

क्योटो कलेज अफ ग्राजुयट स्टडिज फर इन्फर्मेटिक्सले सन् २००४ मा जापानमै पहिलो पटक स्नातक तहमा कम्प्युटर शिक्षाको सुरुवात गरेको थियो। यससँगको सहकार्यले मकवानपुर क्याम्पसलाई नवीन प्रविधि र अनुसन्धानका क्षेत्रमा अघि बढ्न सहयोग पुर्‍याउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।

यो सम्झौता मकवानपुर क्याम्पसको अन्तर्राष्ट्रियस्तरको पहुँच र शैक्षिक प्रतिष्ठामा उल्लेखनीय योगदान गर्ने महत्वपूर्ण कदम हो।


Collaboration Agreement Signed Between Makawanpur Multiple Campus and Kyoto College, Japan

Hetauda: A significant collaboration agreement has been signed between Makawanpur Multiple Campus (MMC) and Japan’s Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) on Sunday. The agreement aims to foster cooperation in areas such as academic research, training, workshops, and the exchange of faculty and students.

Key Highlights of the Agreement

  • Faculty and Student Exchange: Both institutions can invite up to 2 faculty members and 10 students for campus visits during each exchange program.
  • Enhancing Academic Quality: The primary objective of the agreement is to improve the academic standards and promote research and learning opportunities at both institutions.
  • Duration of the Agreement: The agreement will remain effective for 5 years.

Signing Ceremony

The agreement was signed by Dr. Yam Bahadur Silwal, the Campus Chief of Makawanpur Multiple Campus. Assistant Campus Chief Uttam Aryal has been designated as the coordinator on behalf of MMC. From Kyoto College, Vice President Prof. Dr. Gary Hoichi Tsuchimochi signed the agreement, with Anand Nepal as the coordinator.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ananta Prasad Paudel, Chairperson of the Campus Management Committee, and Vice Chairperson Ashok Shakya.

Expected Benefits

According to Dr. Yam Bahadur Silwal, this collaboration will play a pivotal role in the capacity building of faculty, staff, and students. Additionally, it will contribute to enhancing the educational quality of MMC.
Dr. Silwal mentioned that MMC, certified by the University Grants Commission for quality assurance, is committed to expanding its educational partnerships globally. Future collaborations with institutions in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom are also being explored.

The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics, which pioneered undergraduate computer education in Japan in 2004, brings vast experience and innovation to this partnership. This collaboration is expected to provide MMC with new opportunities in technology and research.
